Lovely hinged Pomander locket with faceted Lapis Lazuli at the top and beaded detail.
Approx. 43mm drop.
 
92.5% Indian Silver  (not hall marked) with semi precious stones.
 
Pomander's were traditionally used to carry aromatic spices and herbs as protection from the bad air.
Lapis Lazuli is a gorgeous natural dark blue stone and contains flecks of gold pyrite (otherwise known as fools gold). Lapice is known for relieving stress and helping attain peace, and is thought to open the third eye.
