Come along and meet a distant friend in this wonderful space. Originally part of the old monastery at West Malling, the tranquil and spacious Pilsdon Chapel provides an impressive backdrop and a soulful vibe.

Bazaar Summer Spectacular 2021

Join us for our Summer Spectacular throughout the beamed 17th Century barn at The Plough, Leigh.
Set in glorious rural Kent, this independent country pub with large gardens and a beautiful barn provides the perfect opportunity to lunch and shop in historic surroundings.
Cool in the summer and cosy in winter, Bazaar always feels at home in this idyllic setting.
Gorgeous handmade gifts and textiles, semi-precious unique jewellery, clothes and scarves, ethically traded from India and Nepal.
Bookings open and are required under current Covid restrictions until 21st June.

Our last event of the summer season - spread outside in the glorious Sussex Prairies Gardens. The garden is set in a 32 acre farm with plenty of stunning horticultural delights and
ample room to roam.
Bazaar at the Prairies really is a great outing for all the family. Bring a picnic or book in for a curry.
Our tickets admit people free to the RHS garden (normally £10.00). We will be issuing tickets for your which must be booked in online.
A truly outdoor spectacle, you'll find us in a series of marquees - Alex's Kesari Dhabba serving vegetarian curries and delicious cake from Sussex Prairies' own tea shop. Please note The Kesari Dhabba will be serving a limited number of curries which need to be booked in separately.

Block Printing Workshop
Bazaar's popular block printing workshop will be open in full swing.
Print your own tote bag (materials supplied). Please feel free to bring your own tea shirt or tea towel to print.
Bazaar Christmas Cards and Crackers
Learn the simple craft of cracker making and design your own cards.
Natural Dyes and Weaving
Have a go on a tapestry loom and learn about natural yarn dyes from specialist Emma Price.
Lampshade maker and pattern junkie, Natalia Price-Cabrera, will show you how to make a simple drum lampshade from your favourite piece of fabric, she will also teach you to hand-tailor a soft-sided lampshade plus there will be a cheats' guide to decoupaging an existing lampshade with treasured off cuts (no waste!). Be inspired to upcycle, recycle and re-love your home and its lighting. No two lampshades need ever be the same again!

Styling and Photographing your Craft and Collections
Sonia from The Old Haberdashery will be sharing some of her top shopkeeper secrets and tips on how to style and photograph your crafty makes or your treasured collections; with Instagram worthy photos taken on your phone.
Watch the demonstration and have a go yourself. Curate and style a group of objects or learn the art of the flatlay. Through the use of
interesting props, fabrics and textures learn about the joy of creative display. Just bring a camera phone!
