Pink Patchwork Elephant Wall Hanging

Patched embroidered wall hanging measuring 96cm x 150cm.
Main colours pink, purple and sand with gold detail.
 
Handmade in the Rajasthani desert out of recycled materials, from a family Jo has been working with for over 20 years.
 
The men in the family select the patches and paste them down on to the backing cloth with gum, the embroidery is then handed to the women of the family who hand stitch the patches on to the backing.
